Podcast Mirror with PowerPress

Blubrry’s Podcast Mirror offers blazing performance speeds and reliability regardless of web traffic. At the same time, it allows your podcast to support Value4Value, LIT and Live, Podcasting 2.0 features and more. Podcast Mirror provides you modern podcast features and high dependability.

Podcast Mirror assures that anyone loading your podcast feed (browser, app, etc.) does not encounter a problem, such as displaying XML code or a slow loading website. This means:

• You’re safe if your show goes viral.
• It replicates your extensive podcast catalog – shows with many, many episodes won’t fail.
• It makes otherwise unreadable RSS feeds into an easy-to-comprehend browser.
• And reduces your web hosting costs.

The steps below will redirect your subscribers (both current and future) to your Podcast Mirror feed using PowerPress version 8.3 and later. They can use the Podcast Mirror feed as opposed to your website’s podcast RSS feed. It will change the links below the player, on your subscribe page and in the subscribe widget.

This will also switch your feed at directories such as Apple Podcasts, Google Play and TuneIn to look at your Podcast Mirror feed instead of the site feed.

Note:  If you are using manual links to your feed on your site, you will have to change those links to the new Podcast Mirror feed as well.

Once you have set up your Podcast Mirror feed, follow these steps:

1.)  Go to the Feeds menu > feed settings in PowerPress settings and paste your Podcast Mirror feed in the “PodcastMirror Feed URL” box.

2.) Scroll to the bottom of the page and hit “Save Settings.”

That’s all there is to it! You can now use your Podcast Mirror feed everywhere.
