You can bring your podcast into YouTube by connecting your RSS feed. YouTube creates videos from your audio episodes, and your show becomes available in YouTube Music automatically — there's no separate YouTube Music submission.
Before you begin
- You need a YouTube channel.
- You need access to the email address listed in your RSS feed, to verify ownership.
Connect your feed to YouTube
In YouTube Studio, create a new podcast and choose the option to connect an RSS feed. You'll agree to YouTube's terms, enter your feed address, verify ownership by email, and choose how many episodes to import. Importing a large back catalogue can take a while.
See YouTube's guide to delivering podcasts using an RSS feed for the current steps.
When your podcast is live on YouTube, copy its YouTube Music URL. It looks like https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=....
Add your listing to Blubrry
- Sign in to your Blubrry Podcaster Dashboard.
- In the left menu, select Show, then Destinations.
- Find the YouTube Music row.
- Paste your listing URL into the URL to YouTube Music listing field.
- Select Submit.
Where your listing link appears
- If you have a Podcast Landing Page, a link to your YouTube Music listing is generated there.
- If you publish with PowerPress, adding the listing URL in your PowerPress settings generates a link in the PowerPress Subscribe widget and Subscribe page.
