Move your show to Blubrry Publisher quickly and easily from any podcast RSS feed.
We realize WordPress isn't for everyone, so we offer a way to publish and manage your podcast through Blubrry Publisher. To migrate to Blubrry, you must first have a podcast hosting account. Plans start at $15/month and media migration is FREE!
Setting Up Your Show
Once you've created a Blubrry account, click Add New Show in the menu and select Podcast Hosting to initiate the setup process. Afterward, you'll be taken back to the Podcaster Dashboard where you'll select Show > Move Media.
Enter the podcast RSS feed given to you by your existing podcast host in the field provided and click Next. This will prompt our system to pull your episodes and show information into our system. This could take several hours to complete. You can leave this page at any time and return to it. When completed, you'll receive a message in your Podcaster Dashboard with more details.
Reviewing Your Move
We recommend checking Episodes > Manage Episodes to ensure everything was moved properly. If you see missing episodes, go to your existing host's settings and increase the number of episodes shown in your feed then restart the migration process through Show > Move Media.
Once the episodes and media files are successfully moved, review the settings under Show > Manage to ensure your podcast cover art, descriptions and other required information has been successfully moved. You can manually update this as needed.
Next Steps
If everything looks good, you're just about finished. All you need to do now is go to your existing podcast host and ask them to implement a 301 redirect. This tells podcast directories that your podcast feed is no longer with that host and will instead point them to your new Blubrry feed, which can be found under Show > Manage in the Podcast Feed URL section. It can take 24-48 hours to successfully redirect. From this point forward you can create new episodes in Blubrry Publisher, which will get picked up by any podcast platform that had your old feed.
Once you see your new episodes appearing across platform directories, you can cancel your old hosting service.
Welcome to Blubrry!
