How to Replace a File on Blubrry Media Hosting
Note: You do not need to delete a file before replacing it.
First, log in to your Blubrry Podcaster Dashboard. Next, click Media Files in the left-hand menu. Click the Upload New Media button at the top of the next page.
Important: Ensure the new file has the identical name as the one you're replacing. This includes case sensitivity. For example, if you're replacing a file named episode01.mp3, the new file must also be episode01.mp3. Any variation, even a single character difference, will lead Blubrry Media Hosting to treat it as a new file, not a replacement.
Remember, filenames are case sensitive! If you replace episode01.mp3 with Episode01.mp3 (note the capital "E"), the original file won't be replaced.
To upload the new file, you have two options: either drag and drop it into the popup window or click the Select File button to locate it on your device.
After the new file is uploaded, it will appear at the top of your file list. To replace the old file with this new version, click on the Make Online link located next to the filename under the Actions header. This completes the process; no further action is required from you.
Please note that the updated media file won't be immediately accessible, as there is a delay while the new file clears the caching on Blubrry's global CDN. After this caching process is complete, the updated file will automatically become available across all platforms where your show is featured, including Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, etc.
